Annual State of De Pere offers insight, key updates to community

The City of De Pere, along with community partners, hosts an annual State of De Pere event. This event is a time for our Mayor and community leaders to share updates to the community. 

Here are details for the 2024 event: 

The City of De Pere is hosting its 2024 State of De Pere program at the Mulva Cultural Center on Wednesday, May 15 at 5:30 pm.

Doors open at 5:15 pm. A limit of 200 tickets is available for purchase, so those interested in attending are encouraged to secure their spots. Cost is $10 per ticket and can be purchased at this link: Catalog - De Pere Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department (rec1.com)

Mayor James Boyd will serve as the keynote speaker, offering valuable insights and updates on the exciting developments shaping our beloved city. Additionally, the City of De Pere is excited and grateful to share the State of De Pere stage once again with De Pere Area Chamber Commerce, Definitely De Pere, and St. Norbert College. Prior to Mayor Boyd’s remarks, representatives from these important community partners will provide updates on their respective efforts within De Pere. Community First Credit Union is also returning as sponsor for the event.

The State of De Pere addresses will take place in the Discover Auditorium.

Following the presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to network and socialize in the Mulva Cultural Center’s Atrium, which will remain open until 8 pm. During this time, the Mulva Cultural Center’s culinary team will provide a variety of Hors d'oeuvres for attendees to enjoy. Hors d’oeuvres are included with the price of admission. A cash bar will be available for refreshments.

A portion of proceeds from ticket sales will go to the City of De Pere’s public arts fund.
