Will the Holiday affect my collection day?

Your collection day may be affected by a holiday if it is a "City Recognized Holiday" that is observed during a normal workweek.

"City Recognized Holidays" are as follows: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

There will be no garbage or recycling collection on these holidays. When a holiday occurs during a normal workweek, all collection days starting with the day of the holiday will be collected one day later. For example, Memorial Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and Labor Day fall on Mondays, therefore, Monday's route will be collected on Tuesday, Tuesday's route will be collected on Wednesday, etc.
