Many of you have observed lane closures on the Claude Allouez Roundabout during the day.  The City has hired a contractor to improve the traffic control painting at the roundabout.  Due to the amount of traffic and turning movements, regular paint wears off quickly at the roundabout.  The contractor is grinding the pavement and will be repainting the traffic control to extend the time between paintings.  This work requires impacts to the travel lanes.  The contractor will be closing various lanes during the day to facilitate the work.  This results in traffic being reduced to one lane each for northbound and southbound Broadway traffic and westbound Wisconsin traffic.  This work will occur over the next few weeks.

Overnight work will occur Monday, July 24 and Tuesday, July 25
