Mental Health
Mental Health Matters
Mental health is an important part of health at every stage of life. De Pere Health Department is committed to improving the mental health of our community by connecting our residents to resources, tracking key measures of mental health, and providing opportunities for everyone to make a difference.

Find Tools and Resources
- MyConnectionNEW.org is your one-stop source for mental health and substance abuse information, resources, and service navigation in Brown, Outagamie, Calumet, and Winnebago counties. This “network of care” also includes emergency phone numbers and hotlines, anonymous mental health screenings, medication information, and much more.
Find Education or Training
- Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) Gatekeeper training equips you to identify and refer a person who is suicidal. Like CPR, QPR is a potentially life-saving intervention that anyone can use. Please contact DPHD to set up a QPR training for your organization.
Learn About Community Efforts
- Connections for Mental Wellness is a community-wide collective impact initiative in Brown County that brings together and facilitates diverse groups of stakeholders (i.e. non-profits, government, education organizations, employers, health systems, etc.) to help address community needs and issues related to mental wellness and mental health care.
- Brown County Mental Health Task Force works to increase access to mental health services for everyone in Brown County by identifying gaps and disparities and creating a common platform that mental health providers, partner agencies, and stakeholders can access.
