Can I get a passport at De Pere City Hall?

Do I need an appointment?

What are your appointment hours?

8:30 - 11:30 AM and 1:30 - 3:15 PM, Monday through Thursday; 8:30 - 10:30 AM on Fridays.

How long do appointments take?

Passport appointments entail gathering your required paperwork. This entire process typically takes about 20 minutes, but can run longer or shorter depending on how many family members we’re processing, the preparedness of your paperwork and documents, and the volume of other City customers in our office.

What do I need to bring?

  • Certified copy of your birth certificate
  • Passport photo
  • Driver’s license/photo ID
  • Check/cashier’s check/money order (for the payment to the State Department)

Both parents must appear when applying for a child under the age of 16.

You can obtain an application at this link. You may fill this out ahead of time, or we have forms at the office.

How much does it cost to apply for a passport?

There are two separate fees:

First, an application processing fee to City of De Pere, which is $35.00/person.  This can be any form of payment.

From there, the following fees to the State Department apply, and must be paid by check/cashiers check/money order:
