How do I request an absentee ballot?

By mail    The completed form should be mailed to: City of De Pere Clerk's Office, 335 S. Broadway, De Pere WI 54115

If this is your first time requesting an absentee ballot, you must include a copy of your photo ID.  If you have requested a mailed absentee ballot in the past, your photo ID is already on file and you do not need to send another copy.  Indefinitely confined voters who request a mailed absentee ballot for all elections are exempt from the photo ID requirement.

Absentee ballots must be returned to the Clerk's office by 8:00 PM on Election Day.

Will you have a drop box for absentee ballots?

Yes!  There is a secure, built-in drop box at City Hall.  It will be clearly marked as an absentee ballot drop off.  This box will be checked up until 8:00 PM on Election Night.  Ballots deposited into the box after 8 PM on November 3rd will not be counted!

When does in-person absentee voting start?

In-person absentee voting begins on Tuesday, October 20th and goes through Friday, October 30th.  Hours are 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.  It will be held on the second floor of City Hall, 335 S Broadway.

Do I need my photo ID to vote absentee?

You WILL need a photo ID to vote in-person absentee, just like you do at the polls.  A list of acceptable types of photo ID is listed here.
