drop off site

De Pere Drop-Off site available for large, bulky, electronic and metal items

The City of De Pere offers a drop-off site for residents wishing to dispose of large items, appliances, scrap metal and electronics. Here's some helpful information on the items we collect at this facility, as well as your options for disposing of items we do not collect.

Location and hours:

The site is open April through November on Wednesday from 3 PM to 7 PM and Saturday from 8 AM to 4 PM and located at 925 S. Sixth Street, De Pere

Who can use this drop-off site?

The site is available for City of De Pere residents only. You must show a valid ID upon entering the facility.

Is there a fee to use the site?

The site is free to use for City of De Pere residents with a few exceptions outlined below for select electronics and freon appliances.

It's my first time. What's the process like?

In order to maintain social distancing, only one vehicle will be allowed to drop off items at a time.  Once you arrive at the facility, you'll be asked to show your ID or proof of residency to the attendant through a closed window. You are also being asked to have your items visible to the attendant to verify they will be accepted. This could include: an open trailer, open truck bed, or open hatch/trunk of your vehicle. You will be asked to not get out of your vehicle during the interaction with staff.

What items do you accept? What items do I need to take elsewhere?

We accept a wide-range of items. Please review the general guidance below. If you have questions on items not listed or you need clarification, please call 920-339-4060.
