Construction Projects in the City of De Pere

Each year the Engineering Department designs and constructs:

  • 1 to 2 miles of new streets with sewer and water mains, serving 100 to 400 lots
  • 5 to 6 miles of street resurfacing and reconstruction
  • 1 to 2 miles of sewer and water reconstruction

The Engineering Department is also in charge of City Construction Projects such as: sewer and water main installation, street extensions, sidewalk removal and repair, asphalt and concrete pavement. The Engineering Department does most of the design work for these projects.
