Event Description:

De Pere Parks, Recreation & Forestry's Big Rig Gig event is next Friday, Sept. 17 from 10 am – 1 pm at Southwest Park. 🚌🚜🚓🚍🚒🚛

This will be a great hands-on event for kids ages 1 to 5. A variety of trucks and rigs will be there for kids and families to explore and learn about the different vehicles that are in our community and the people who drive and operate them. The Bookmobile is also scheduled to visit, so kids can bring their library cards and check out books!

The event itself is free but Kona Ice food truck will be there for folks to purchase tasty treats. In addition, Kiwanis will be serving $1 hotdog meals (while supplies last), beginning around 11 am.
