Trails in De Pere, Wisconsin 

The City of De Pere has three separate trail systems navigating through the City Limits, compiling approximately 7.6 miles for your health and year-round enjoyment. While the East River, Voyageur Park and Preserve Trails are owned and maintained by the City of De Pere, the Fox River Trail is owned and operated by the Brown County Parks Department. Also of note, several of our trails are adjacent to private residences or businesses. Please be respectful of all adjacent properties, stay on marked trails, and adhere to all Wisconsin DNR guidelines to help protect the beauty and health of your natural surroundings. Most of all, enjoy the fresh air and scenery - and have fun!

East River Trail

Location:

Trail Access – can be found off of Ten Mile Drive.
Trail Parking – can be found at Wiese Park in Allouez, or Ledgeview Park in Ledgeview. 

Description: 
The East River Trail in De Pere is part of a much larger trail system that spans approximately 6 miles. The trail begins in the City of Green Bay near Joannes Park, and winds through the Villages of Bellevue and Allouez, before coming to De Pere. The trial continues through De Pere and into the Town of Ledgeview, where it currently ends near Ledgeview Park. The trail features many aesthetically pleasing glimpses of the East River, as well as many interactions and viewing opportunities of abundant wildlife.

Voyageur Park Trail

Location:
Voyageur Park: 100 William St, De Pere, WI 54115

Description: 

The Voyageur Park Trail is a trail system which runs approximately ¾ mile, all within Voyageur Park.  A perfect trail to get exercise and enjoy the scenery of the Fox River. The Voyageur Trail is connected to the Fox River Trail and the De Pere Riverwalk.

The Preserve

Location:

Trail Access – Innovation Court and Southbridge Road, Lawrence Drive, American Boulevard, and East Matthews Drive.
Trail Parking – Lawrence Drive, Innovation Court

 

Description: 
The Preserve Trail runs through parts of De Pere on the west side. The trail begins in the West Side industrial park on the corner of East Matthew Drive and Venture Avenue, then navigates through parts of the West Side Industrial Park until it begins a scenic transition into the large wooded park known as The Preserve. The trail winds through pristine wooded areas along Ashwaubenon Creek, until it ends at the corner of Innovation Court and Southbridge Road.

Fox River Trail

Description:
The Fox River Trail is operated and owned by the Brown County Parks Department, and may require a permit to use. It spans a distance of 25 miles and goes through various Brown County communities including De Pere. For more information, visit foxrivertrail.com.
