Outdoor park shelters for rent in De Pere, Wisconsin 

Resident and non-resident groups, organizations and businesses wishing to reserve park shelters and areas for picnics should contact the Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department at (920) 339-4065. All of our outdoor open shelters are available for reservation when not in conflict with Department sponsored programs. Park shelters may not be used for vending purposes and are open to the public at all times. Reservations will be accepted for the following year beginning October 1st.

Legion Park Shelter
1212 Charles St.

This open park shelter is located in the heart of one of our most popular parks, Legion Park, which is on our City's east side. The shelter has power outlets, picnic tables, garbage cans and a nearby grill. While not included in the shelter rental, other nearby amenities in the park your group may potentially utilize, if available, include a volleyball court, green space, disc golf course, playgrounds, baseball diamond and an outdoor pool (admission fees apply). Legion Pool is also available for rent through a separate rental process with separate fees

This open park shelter is located at Optimist Park, which is on our City's east side. The shelter has power outlets, picnic tables, garbage cans and a nearby grill. While not included in the shelter rental, other nearby amenities in the park your group may potentially utilize, if available, include a playground, baseball fields and green space.

Perkofski Boat Launch Shelter
1500 Ft Howard Ave.

This open park shelter is located along a scenic overlook of the Fox River at Perkofski Boat Launch, which is on our City's west side. The shelter has power outlets, picnic tables, garbage cans and a nearby grill. This peaceful place along the river is a perfect location for an outdoor gathering. VFW Park Shelter 1

This open park shelter is one of two shelters located in VFW Park, which one of the most popular parks on our City's west side. The shelter has power outlets, picnic tables, garbage cans and a nearby grill. While not included in the shelter rental, other nearby amenities in the park your group may potentially utilize, if available, include a basketball court just feet away, a playground nearby, green space, a baseball field and an aquatic center (opening in June 2021 - admission fees apply).

This open park shelter is the second of two shelters located in VFW Park, which one of the most popular parks on our City's west side. The shelter has power outlets, picnic tables, garbage cans and a nearby grill. While not included in the shelter rental, other nearby amenities in the park your group may potentially utilize, if available, are a basketball court, a playground, green space, a baseball field and an aquatic center (opening in June 2021 - admission fees apply). This shelter is also near the De Pere Community Center.

Voyageur Park Shelter 1

This open park shelter is the one of two shelters located in Voyageur Park, which is arguably our City's signature park. Voyageur Park is located on our City's east side, with beautiful views of the Fox River. The shelter itself has power outlets, picnic tables, garbage cans and a nearby grill. It is located in a wooded section of the park, feet away from a trail and the Fox River. While not included in the shelter rental, other nearby amenities in the park your group may potentially utilize, if available, are a playground, walking trails, green space and access to the De Pere Riverwalk and Wildlife Viewing Pier.
