As an agency we pride ourselves on being responsive to the needs of the community in order to provide the best service we possibly can.  By utilizing a team policing model we strive to learn more about the community we serve, the concerns of our citizens, and work hard each and every day to be approachable, proactive, and professional.  When we work in partnership with our community, they share information that helps us do our job better.  That is why we have a Community Resource Officer, a strong social media presence, and regularly participate in events around De Pere.

As a member of the De Pere Police Department, you’re not confined to only doing certain tasks; you’ll have the opportunity to respond to a wide variety of calls.  The De Pere Police Department has a number of specialty positions within the agency that include School Liaison Officers, K9 Officer, Community Resource Officer and Traffic Officer.  The De Pere Police Department is part of the Brown County multi agency SWAT Team, Brown County multi Field Force Team, Brown County Drug Task Force, and Brown County Arson Task Force.

In addition to sworn staff, the De Pere Police Department has a dedicated support staff that consists of Business Manager, Social Worker, Police Technical Support Analyst, Administrative Assistants, and part-time Community Service Officers (non-sworn).
