The City of De Pere held its 2019 Volunteer Recognition Luncheon on Monday, Jan. 6 at the Swan Club in De Pere.

The Volunteer Recognition Luncheon acknowledges many outstanding individuals who devote their time to help the City run more efficiently. ­­­

“It's really great to see people who want to get involved and learn what the City is all about. The City and I are very appreciative of all of your efforts, and it is our hope that you will continue to take an interest in volunteering in our community” said Mayor Michael Walsh at the event.

In all, over 80 volunteers on 16 different committees were recognized for their remarkable contributions to De Pere. Many men and woman in the community dedicate their time to bettering the City by serving on committees, ranging from Parks; to Sustainability; to Police and Fire, City Beatification and many more.
