Chair Flow Yoga


Chair flow yoga is a 60-minute class that is appropriate for everybody. All the poses & breathing exercises are performed either seated or standing. This class will improve joint range of movement, core strength, posture and breathing efficiency, while promoting stress reduction and a sense of well-being.

Yin Yoga


Yin Yoga focuses on activating muscles to strengthening and opening of the joints and connective tissues.

Restorative Yoga

This gentle form of yoga is well-suited for those suffering from lower back pain, sciatica, tight hamstrings/calves, or busy people with overstimulated and over-active minds.

Zumba Gold

 
The Zumba Gold Fitness program creates a party-like atmosphere that is easy to learn and is great for the mind, body and soul! It provides modified, low-impact moves in an easy-to-follow program!

Foot Clinic


Students from the NWTC Associate Degree Nursing Program will be hosting a FREE Foot Clinic. This service provides you with basic foot care including toenail clipping, filing, and an overall check on the condition of your feet!

Whether you are running errands in town, or attending a morning or an afternoon program, we would like to invite everyone aged 60 and over to dine with us at the De Pere Community Center. We serve Mon. - Fri. at 10:30 a.m. and would love for you to join us! Advanced reservations are required and can be made by calling 920-983-1675 by 10:00 a.m. the day prior. Lunch is provided on a donation basis with a suggested amount of $4.00.

Grant Street Landing: Dine In & Homebound Meals

The Grant Street Landing, at the Community Center, serves lunch Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 to 11:30am.  No reservations needed!  Advanced notice recommended for larger groups (4+).  Dine In customers choose from two entrée options.  Monthly menu available below.  The Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Brown County receives a grant to serve meals to adults age 60+, as well as their spouse or caregiver regardless of age.  A donation of $4 is appreciated to help make this program possible.  Those under age 60 are welcome to join us for $10 per meal.  The Grant Street Landing also delivers meals to homebound adults in De Pere and Wrightstown area.  Delivery is available to anyone age 60 or older who is for the most part homebound or unable to safely prepare meals.  Service is available on a long- or short-term basis.  Meals delivered Monday through Friday between 11:00am and 12:30pm in De Pere.

Volunteers Welcome!

Do you enjoy working with older adults?  Looking for ways to give back in your community?  The ADRC of Brown County, a private, non-profit agency, relies on the generosity of 400+ volunteers to make what we do possible.  Volunteer opportunities in the  De Pere area include anything from packaging or delivering homebound meals to serving lunch or helping with administrative tasks.  For more information, call MaryJo at 920-983-1675.
