The City of De Pere, Wisconsin

The City of De Pere is embarking on an exciting project to update the City’s Comprehensive Plan, complete a Downtown parking study, and craft a new vision for the west side of Downtown.

As defined in Wisconsin Statute Section 62.23(2)(3), the City of De Pere is authorized to prepare and adopt a Comprehensive Plan. The original adoption occurred on September 27, 2004 and an update occurred on July 6, 2010. The new plans will assist City Staff, Plan Commission, Common Council, and other advisory committees to gauge the direction in which citizens and various stakeholders within the community would like to see the City advance. The plan updates will guide the City on the appropriate implementation of new development and redevelopment plans within the community, while also meeting the service demands that come with community growth. The Plan will describe a desired future for the community over the next 20 years and establish goals to move toward that future.

This is where you come in – the City of De Pere needs your help! The project has been branded “Imagine De Pere” and we need your thoughts and opinions on the future of the City of De Pere. To that end, the City, with the help of our consultant during this process, SmithGroup, created a project portal where residents, businesses, and visitors can use to provide feedback.
