BACKGROUND

I was born and raised in NE Wisconsin, and have lived in De Pere for over 10 years. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in English and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and worked in the retail industry to pay my way through college. I went on to earn a Master’s Degree from Marquette University, and also served as a writing instructor on campus.

I have proudly represented District 2 (southeast De Pere) on the De Pere City Council since April 2017. I have experience as a mortgage lender specializing in loan programs for low/moderate income and first-time homebuyers, and currently work as a mortgage specialist assisting small community banks. I also previously worked as a legislative aide in the Wisconsin State Capitol.

WHY I'M RUNNING

Since I was first elected, we have made great progress in De Pere, and I am running to carry on that work. We secured a path forward for a new Legion Pool, generated unprecedented momentum for the Brown County Southern Bridge, lowered the property tax rate, took responsible measures to protect public health during this pandemic, and implemented a pandemic relief loan program for our small businesses. I also really enjoy communicating with my constituents, and keeping them up-to-date with ongoing projects, including personally hand-delivering newsletters to every house in the district, and mailing them to all apartments and businesses.
