Fine Arts - Miscellaneous fine art classes are offered throughout the year and are held at the De Pere Community center and select school locations.  Programs range from Youth Dance, Poms, Twirling and Acting classes/camps to Adult Dance, Social Dance, Writing and Computer Explorer classes.  For specific dates, times and fees please refer to our Program Brochure.  If you have further questions please contact the De Pere Community center at 339-4097.

Fitness Programs - A variety of teen and adult fitness classes are held year round at the De Pere Community Center and select school locations.  Classes are designed to help you strengthen your body, heart and mind and improve your overall health while attaining your fitness goals.  Offerings include but are not limited to Yoga, PiYo Core, Zumba, Kickboxing, Fit 'N Trim & Belly Dancing classes.  Check our current Program Brochure for more information on fees, dates and times.

Martial Arts - The Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department offers Tae Kwon Do and Tai Chi classes for various levels of experience.  Beginner and Advanced Beginner classes are offered continuously throughout the year.  In addition, for the younger participants, the Department offers a Little Ninjas class for 5-6 year olds which helps the little ones prepare for the beginner Tae Kwon Do class by teaching teamwork, memory, balance and coordination.

Preschool Programs - The De Pere Park, Recreation & Forestry Department offers a variety of classes for your preschool child, ages 1 1/2 - 5.  Offerings include interactive parent - child classes focusing on dance, movement, tumbling and the arts.  Classes available for children to attend on their own include Learning Tree Adventures & Kamp Kinder Adventure which incorporate appropriate themed preschool activities; Preschool Snippets focusing on the arts, math, reading, arts & crafts; specialty parties and other fun programs such as tumbling, movement, exercise and dance classes.  Check in our current Program Brochure for start dates and additional information.

Sports Leagues & Programs - Sports enthusiasts can enjoy an array of programs offered through the City of De Pere.  Offerings include Swimming, Tae Kwon Do, Tai Chi, Tennis, Tumbling, Youth Flag Football and a Sports Galore Class designed to teach the basic skills of a variety of sports.  Youth Co-ed Rec Nights are held at Westwood Elementary School from December - March.  For more information please consult the Program Brochure.

Summer Playground Program - Summer is all about having fun and that is what the City of De Pere's Park & Recreation Department Summer Playground Program offers!  Kids, ages 6 - 14 years, can enjoy a summer full of fun physical activity, trips, special events, crafts, and much more at 4 different playground site locations:

Braisher, Optimist, Kiwanis & Patriot Parks

The Playground Program is not to be used as a substitute for child-care services but is offered as a DROP-IN program with organized activity. Playgrounds are normally to begin mid-June until mid-August.  A small registration fee help cover on-site daily activities for the entire summer.  There are additional costs for special events.  All registrations accepted online or at the De Pere Community Center.  For specific information regarding the Playground Program & Special Events, please check our Summer/Fall Brochure.

Co-Sponsored Youth Sports Leagues are offered in conjunction with De Pere Organizations.  These include:  Soccer, Baseball, Girls Softball, and Hockey.  Information on Co-Sponsored Youth Sports Leagues can be found in the Winter/Spring Brochure or by visiting each organization's website.
