A Memorial Day ceremony will be hosted on Monday, May 31 at Voyageur Park in De Pere.
The ceremony will honor and remember the lives of men and women who have served in the United States military and have lost their lives during active service.
The event will begin at 1 p.m, and is hosted by the De Pere Kiwanis.
Program will included marches and music performed by 484th Army Marching Band prior to and after the ceremony.
There will be a benediction followed by a dedication from De Pere Mayor James Boyd.
Ceremony will also include a Color Guard, Rifle Squad and Bugler provided by Vietnam Veterans and De Pere VFW. Other Veterans groups will be attending.
The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
The event is outdoors and Covid-19 mitigation strategies such as social distancing and mask-wearing are encouraged, but not required.

City of De Pere facilities will be closed on Monday, May 31 in observance of Memorial Day.
🔹 The De Pere Municipal Service Center will close at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 28 and reopen at 6:30 am on Tuesday, June 1.
🔹 De Pere City Hall and the De Pere Community Center will close at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, May 28 and reopen at 7:30 am on Tuesday, June 1.
If you need to conduct business at our facilities, please plan your upcoming visit accordingly.
Please also remember that garbage and recycling will not be picked-up on Memorial Day, and all scheduled collections throughout the week will be delayed one day as a result (example: Monday’s scheduled route will be collected Tuesday, Tuesday’s scheduled route will be collected on Wednesday, etc.)
