PRESS RELEASE: 3/16/20

DE PERE, WIS. – As we continue to work in partnership with many state and local public health departments regarding COVID-19, the City of De Pere remains steadfastly committed to serving the needs of our residents. However, during this time, to responsibly ensure the safety of our community - especially our high-risk populations - we will also begin taking several proactive measures and precautions, including:

  • We urge residents to refrain from coming to City facilities, and instead conduct their business with the City by phone or online if possible. City facilities will stay open, but people should try to get their business done within virtual services instead.
  • We recommend visiting our website first: deperewi.gov. If unable to find the service or information you are looking for, please call the department and have someone assist over the phone.
  • Health Department recommendations, cancellation status of Park and Rec events and programming and information on absentee voting are among the most-requested information we are facing. Details on these subjects can all be found easily on the homepage of depere.gov.

The City of De Pere is carefully monitoring this ever-changing situation, appreciates the cooperation and support of our residents, and will continue to provide updates through our social media platforms, local news media, and our website.
